When you submit your order you are given the option to view a printable version of your receipt. We highly recommend you print this and keep it for your records. You will also receive an order confirmation via e-mail if you provided your e-mail address during checkout. Pending Charges - if you use a credit card for an order that was attempted but not completed, an order that was cancelled or an order that is still processing, and a charge from The Rug Truck appears on you statement, it is because your financial institution placed a temporary authorization on your account to ensure funds will be available if the order goes through.
As soon as we receive your returned merchandise and have deemed it suitable for return, we will credit your account. It may take several days for your issuing bank to process the credit before it appears on your statement.
Many area rugs look alike but are not identical. To qualify for a price match, the competitor’s product must be the exact same brand, item number, pattern, material, size, shape and color as the one we offer for sale. The competitor's price must be verified at the time of purchase.
We will not match prices on competitor’s products that are factory seconds, off-quality, clearance or closeout items. The Rug Truck reserves the right to verify the item’s identity and competitor’s advertised price before honoring a price match. We also reserve the right to reject any price match request that we determine does not meet our policy's qualifications.
Absolutely! Every rug we sell comes with a full one-year manufacturer's warranty. This warrants the rug against manufacturing defects in workmanship or materials for a one (1) year period from the date of delivery. The manufacturer will repair or replace the rug, at its discretion, at no cost. Please note that normal wear and tear is not warranted. Although our rugs are covered by the manufacturer, The Rug Truck will provide assistance to facilitate submission of the warranty claim to the manufacturer. To register a claim under this warranty, please contact The Rug Truck Customer Service by calling 844-RUG-TRUCK between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday Eastern time, or send an e-mail to: contactus@therugtruck.com. Please note that The Rug Truck is not responsible for satisfying the warranty claim. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
You must purchase and use a suitable area rug pad under your rug for this warranty to apply. Proof of original purchase is required. Please note that our rugs are covered by a manufacturer's warranty and although The Rug Truck will provide assistance to facilitate submission of the warranty claim to the manufacturer, The Rug Truck is not responsible for satisfying the warranty claim.
Normal wear and tear is not warranted. In addition, there are outside elements that may affect your rug's appearance over time. Many of these conditions are not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. These conditions are normal and are not considered manufacturing defects. Please note that our rugs are covered by a manufacturer's warranty and although The Rug Truck will provide assistance to facilitate submission of the warranty claim to the manufacturer, The Rug Truck is not responsible for satisfying the warranty claim.
Yes! Area rug manufacturers specifically exclude damage by a vacuum cleaner, including the use of the beater bar.
No! All hand-made rugs exhibit some degree of shedding, as do rugs containing wool. This is normal and not a manufacturer's defect. Although it can be frustrating, the amount of shedding will decrease over time and eventually stop. Regular, low-suction vacuuming will help assuage this natural process.
Currently we only ship to addresses in the contiguous United States. We cannot ship to PO Boxes, Alaska or Hawaii.
Shipping is FREE on ALL orders to any address in the contiguous USA.
Most items take between five to seven business days to ship, based upon the item's availability. Delivery of items will be dependent on the size of the rug ordered and the shipping location. Most items deliver within two weeks. In some cases, all of the items in your order may not ship together or in the same package. Rug pads ship separately. Merchandise delivery does not require a signature, and will be delivered to your doorstep.

If there is damage or loss as a result of negligence on the part of the shipping company, an incorrect item shipped or a manufacturer defect, you should immediately contact our Customer Service Department. Back ordered items are those that our suppliers currently don’t have in stock, but are on order. Whenever possible, we will do our best to inform you of an anticipated shipping date.
We offer a 30-Day, In-Home Trial on every rug we sell, except for samples and rug pads that have been opened. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you may return your rug within 30 days of delivery as long as it is in unused condition. Prior to accepting your shipment, please take a moment to inspect your rug for visible damage. If your rug has been damaged in delivery, you have the right to refuse the shipment and demand a prompt full refund. All returns will be shipped back at the expense of The Rug Truck. Please note: merchandise returned damaged by consumer, without a return authorization number (RA#) or more than 30 days after the RA# was issued may be refused or incur a 20% service fee.
